The Society held its AGM on 27th October in Ayton Primary School.

It was noted with sadness that Ronnie Bedford, who had been on the committee for 41 years, had died since the last AGM.

The following Office Bearers and Committee Members were elected at the meeting:

Chairman – Bill Stewart

Secretary – Raymond Allan (41 years on the committee!)

The next committee meeting will be held in the Ayton Primary School on Monday 9th March 2009 at 7.30pm. The 2009 schedule will be discussed at this meeting, including whether prize money should be increased.
